Why choose Monkey Fist Climbing Company?
I am a native English speaker who knows how to navigate around Prague and the Czech Republic.  I guide beginner to advanced climbers and will work to individualize your climbing experience to accomplish your goals.  You can choose from individual day trips to multi-day excursions and can sit back and relax while I handle the logistics.  I love rock climbing and sharing that experience with others.  It is a great way to see and experience the beautiful nature of the Czech Republic.  

Guiding Experience
​​I started my climbing career as the assistant manager in a small climbing gym in Pittsburgh, PA called The Climbing Wall.  Working at the gym was great and gave me time to focus on building my strength and refining my climbing technique.  My true passion was for climbing outdoors, and I wanted to share that experience with others.  I took a single pitch instructor course through the American Mountain Guide Association in Puerto Rico and then promptly took the exam in the New River Gorge, WV.  I took my certifications and my life to the West Coast of the United States and guided in Colorado, Arizona, California and Utah.  I can't say enough good things about climbing and guiding in the West Coast.  It was a great experience that helped me to grow personally and professionally.  I then moved to the Czech Republic so my wife could be closer to her family in the UK and elsewhere.  Now I am accredited through the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic and ready to guide on the amazing rocks here!
